Welcome to the Center for American Buddhist Practice.
The Center for American Buddhist Practice (CABP) is a Buddhist organization that seeks to propagate the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha throughout North and South America and the world.
Our headquarters is in St. Louis, MO. We have branch centers in San Diego, CA, and Stuttgart, Germany.
Though CABP branch centers and members have considerable freedom in the form their Buddhist practice takes, all CABP centers are enjoined to hold the same basic ideals and adhere to the same basic aims as set forth in our Mission Statement.
The Center for American Buddhist Practice was first established in January 2005 in San Diego, CA and received its charter as a non-profit Buddhist Church in May 2006.
For more information about the Center for American Buddhist Practice or individual CABP centers please contact us.
